Editable Candy Land Cards to

Practice Skills

Love this awesome resource from Christine Pinto

@PintoBeanz11. She has shared these editable cards

that can be used with a traditional Candy Land

game. Edit the cards so students practice sight

words, word families, math operations, etc. while

playing Candy Land. Check out her blog post and

make a copy of the cards here: bit.ly/2jVWOFj

The Math Learning Center apps are awesome for

practicing math skills in your classroom. In first grade,

we paired with PicCollage Kids to make some number

collages that turned out great! Check out how we did it

here: bit.ly/2j95JG5

I’ll be offering a Seesaw training after school on

February 23rd at 4:00pm. You can sign up for the

training here: goo.gl/forms/V37wvVwYSl18lfkg2

Participants will be expected to apply what they

learn in their classroom and submit proof of

completed tasks in order to receive 3 OPI credits.

Also available for MEA trade & step up.

Love this awesome idea from superstar first grade

teacher Ms. Ash. She created a sequencing activity

using Google Drawings and screenshots from their

Unit 3, Week 2 Wonders book. This Drawing can be

used whole class on an interactive whiteboard, or if

your students access their Google accounts, they

could complete independently. bit.ly/2khpLhX
