LFKF Report ● Kristie is present to report out:

○ Next year is Kristie’s last year as LFKF president

■ Looking for an interested parent to shadow her for the 23/24 school year and take over starting 24/25 school year

■ Teachers can send names directly to Kristie and she will follow-up

○ Field trips are starting to be planned for 23/24 school year

● Seth-regarding PVFT negotiations: positive experience overall. Both sides have the best interest of Linscott as a top priority.

● Susan- regarding PVFT negotiations: thank you for the support during the process.

● Michelle: regarding PVFT negotiations: thank you to PVFT negotiators and SMT reps for diving right in. Wants to retain Linscott teachers and lift staff morale.

Thank you for streamlining the processes.

● Tom: encourages teachers and staff to attend future Linscott meetings to give input and share insight

● Gina: appreciates teachers as people and enjoys their presence at SMT meetings

● Felipe: currently interviewing to fill teacher vacancy

● Felipe: idea to create a video to encourage parent participation at school and encourage SMT meeting attendance

Pajaro Valley Federation of Teachers and Linscott are in the process of reaching a partial

tentative agreement for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years. With both SMT and

full chapter approval, Linscott will have a revised salary schedule, increasing all cells.

staff members who work .475 FTE and greater, who have worked at Linscott for more

than one academic year, a retention bonus.
