Who Can Apply?

• High school students who are 16 or older by October 1st of the upcoming school year and will be entering

their junior or senior year may apply to Warren Tech, participate in the lotter, be selected or placed on a

waitlist.

Who May Attend?

Students who accept an offer of enrollment must meet one of the following criteria by August 1:

• Students must be enrolled in a Jeffco Public Schools’ diploma granting high school or charter school and

be considered primary at that school.

• Out-of-district public high school students may enroll at Warren Tech if their school district is willing to

enter into a formal financial agreement with Jeffco Public Schools, to reimburse Jeffco Public Schools the

cost of providing education.

• Homeschool students must enroll in a Jeffco Public Schools’ diploma-granting high school or charter

school and be considered primary at that school.

• Anyone who has graduated from high school, received a GED, or is 21 or older may apply for approved

Warren Tech programs by enrolling through Red Rocks Community College.

WARREN TECH is Jeffco Public Schools’ designated Career and Technical Education

(CTE) center and the springboard to a competitive edge in college readiness and career

opportunities.

Juniors, seniors, and adult students in over 30 innovative programs work with experienced

faculty and industry partners to engage in Post-Secondary and Workforce Readiness (PWR) skills,

real-world professional projects, and internships. Students earn approximately 13,000 free/

reduced college credits and 1,600 industry certifications yearly.

An extension of all Jeffco high schools, students attend Warren Tech Central, North, or South for

half the day and their home high schools the other half. Credits earned at Warren Tech count

toward graduation from students’ home high schools.

Warren Tech develops students who are competitive in today’s high-tech,

skills-based society and global economy.

*** Accelerated Associate Degree (AAD) Program is an intensive, three-semester course

sequence designed for motivated students to earn their Associate of Applied Science Degree

(A.A.S.) while they are earning their high school diploma. Students earn a two-year college

degree, tuition-free, upon completion of the AAD Program.

A student who is on track to graduate from their home high school, and as a junior has

successfully completed the first year in Precision Machining, will be considered and invited to

apply to AAD.
