It was eleven o’clock at night when the phone
rang. It was a man who I met yesterday in a
bar. He told me he was injured in a hospital
and he needed some money. I was suspicious
but I like taking risks.
I accepted and then I went to the hospital with
the money in a plastic bag. As soon as I entered
his bedroom I saw a policeperson in front of
the door. I was frightened. My hands were
sweating. The policeman asked me a lot of
questions.
I told the police that I was his wife and was
bringing him some clean clothes. The police left
us alone for a moment. I gave him the money.
When I was leaving the policeman told me he
was a swindler. However, I trusted him. Before
leaving the room he had given me a key.

I realised it was the key of a locker at the
railway station. I found two kilograms of coke
there. It was the best investment of my life.
I was studying English. When suddenly the
door was opened by an odd man.
