Reduction (DRRI Camp for School Children on Oecember 12-13, 2019 at Malinao CES, Banisilan

2. lntended to form part of the school's annual activity of engaging the learners in Disaster Risk

Reduction and Managemant (DRRM) program, the said activity aims to provide learning

opportunities and increase risk reduction consciousness as well as enhance the potantials, skills

b. discuss Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Cha nge Ada ptation concepts and emergency

preparedness;

c. organize Children's DRR Brigade and School Watching Team;

d. improve students' level of awareness on the potential hazards and risks within and

e. increase the participation of children in addressing potential disasters by reducing

vulnerabilities;

f. inculcate a culture of safety in the day_to-day experience ofchildren in school; and

g. perform Multi-Hazard Drilland simulation integrating basicfirst aid'

3. To ensurewide participation and supportfrom education stakeholders, it is advised thatthe said

activity be conducted at the dinrict level in collaboration with barangay and municipal local

government units. Participants to the activity are 10 puplls (from Grade 4 to 5) and 2 teachers

(oRRM Coordinator and thaperone teacter) per school. These pupils shall organize the same

4. Pupil participa nts are required to secure their parents consent beforejoining the activity. Strictly

5. All school ORRM coordinators shall serve as resource persons during the activity. They shall

PDRRMO staff shall monitor and evaluate to identify practices that need improvement and

7. Tranrportation and other incidental expensei incu.red relative to the activity shall be charged

aSainst school MOOE and other soutces, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and

regulations.
