velcro strips

time

times

Printing Visuals

Print on cardstock for durability

Print in color if possible (not a requirement)

Print multiple copies-you will need them!

Laminating

Invest in a personal laminator

○ The laminating pouches for these are much stronger

and more durable than the laminate on large rolls, and

much more convenient

○ Consider buying laminating pouches in bulk

○ Amazon and Sam’s Club both have reasonable options

Consider laminating frequently used items twice for durability

Use a glue stick to glue pieces to laminating pouch before

laminating to keep them in place

Storage & organization

Tackle boxes or plastic bead boxes from a hobby store work

well for picture icons

Hanging pocket charts, jewelry pouches, shoe holders can be

useful

For portable visual prompts, keep them on a lanyard or key

ring for easy access throughout the day

Pencil pouches and old DVD cases make great holders for

some visuals that will be used on-the-go in multiple

environments
