Subject: 2024 Crowley County 4-H & FFA Progress Show Reminders

⇒ Entry Form:

o Due June 21, 2024 with $5.00 entry fee per member. Cloverbuds do not have to

pay but must turn in an entry form by the deadline.

o Make checks payable to Crowley County Junior Fairboard.

o All signatures (Members, Parents and Leaders) are required before turning it in.

o Sign Crowley County release form.

o Include all projects – Livestock, Small Animals, Horses, Family Consumer Science,

General Projects, and Fashion Revue.

 Don’t forget tag numbers for all market animals and the showmanship

classes.

o Make sure all projects are in the proper class on the entry form; use your fair book

to double check.

o This year’s fairbook can be found at https://crowley.extension.colostate.edu/

under the 4-H Programs tab.

⇒ Shooting Sports Members:

o Enter your Display Board/Stand-a-lone project on the entry form – Dept.-Natural

Resources, and list specific Class

o Fill out and turn in the attached orange shoot off registration form if you plan and

want to qualify for the state competition.

o Due – June 21, 2024

⇒ Horse Project:

o Horse Identification Certificate – due May 1, 2024.

o Information entered in 4HOnline or through Extension office.

o Need completed ID for each horse you are going to show and/or ride.

⇒ Dog & Cat Project:

o Dog Identification Certificate – due May 1, 2024.

o Information entered in 4HOnline or through Extension office.

o Need completed ID and vaccination record for each dog and/or cat you are

showing.

⇒ Horse Clinic/Gymkhana:

o No entry form required. Horse ID is required in 4HOnline by May 1st.

⇒ Fashion Review:

o Narration Form – due August 1, 2024.

o May be turned in hard copy or e-mailed (preferred) to the Otero office.

⇒ Sponsorship Form:

o One $25 sponsor minimum. Required of all fair participants.

o Due by June 21, 2024. This will ensure the sponsors are properly recognized on

banners and publications during the fair.
