NOTICE OF MEETING

GALVESTON COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 52

The Board of Directors of Galveston County Municipal Utility District No. 52 will

hold a regular meeting on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 3:00 p.m., at the Nessler Civic

Center, 2010 5th Avenue North, in the Alamo Room, Texas City, Texas, to discuss and, if

appropriate, act upon the following:

1. Comments from the public.

2. Approve minutes.

3. Renewal of District’s insurance policies.

4. District website matters.

5. Bookkeeping report and financing matters, including payment of bills and

adoption or amendment of budget.

6. Tax assessment and collections matters, including delinquent tax

collections, installment agreements, and payment of tax bills.

7. Adopt Resolution Regarding Development Status for 2022 Tax Year.

8. Report from canal committee and maintenance consultant and authorize

appropriate action, including:

a. Bulkhead caps and dredging projects; and

b. No Wake Zone.

9. Engineering matters, including authorize design, approve plans and

specifications, authorize advertisement for bids, review bids and award

contracts, approve letter financing agreements, approve pay estimates and

change orders, authorize final acceptance of projects, as appropriate,

including for the following:

a. Dollar Bay Breakwater project;

b. Excavation and Bulkheading for Section 4;

c. repairs to District facilities;

d. sidewalk improvements for Grand Cay Harbour Boulevard;

e. ammonia study;

f. deeds and easements; and

g. adopt Resolution Authorizing Application to the Texas

Commission on Environmental Quality for Use of Surplus Funds.

10. Security matters and, if necessary, authorize appropriate action, including:

a. report from Security Committee;

b. Park Safety and related matters with the City of Texas City; and

c. security services.

11. Consider Amendment to Strategic Partnership Agreement with the City of

Texas City.

14. Convene in Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.071, Texas

Government Code, to conduct a private consultation with attorney to

discuss pending or contemplated litigation, or a settlement offer.

15. Reconvene in Open Session and authorize appropriate action regarding

pending or contemplated litigation, or a settlement offer.
