configuration:

a. Use two 18mm wrenches to configure the two sets of jam nuts spaced apart

from each other, with one set being at the end of the threaded rod.

b. Place the tapered sleeve with the large diameter side facing the suspension

arm on the opposite side from the jam nuts.

c. Thread the threaded rod through the reversible threaded end cap with the

New Bushing Install

1. Apply silicon spray to the new bushing and the inside of the tapered sleeve and

place the bushing in the large end of the tapered sleeve.

2. Gather the hardware and reassemble in the following configuration:

a. The jam nuts and needle bearings can be left in the same configuration as

previously used when removing the old bushing.

b. Place the new bushing in the large opening of the tapered sleeve.

c. Place the tapered sleeve against the suspension arm with the smaller

opening facing the suspension arm.

d. Push the threaded rod through the new bushing and thread it through the

reversible threaded end cap with the register which most closely matches

the diameter of the suspension arm facing it.

3. Use an 18mm wrench or socket to press the bushing until it bottoms out on the

reversible threaded end cap on the opposite side.

4. Once the bushing bottoms out on the end cap, disassemble the configuration and

re-assemble it as shown below:
