Remove Old Bushing
1. Start by lubricating the inside of the tapered sleeve and threaded rod.
2. Gather all the components from the hardware list and assemble in the following
configuration:
a. Use two 18mm wrenches to configure the two sets of jam nuts spaced apart
from each other, with one set being at the end of the threaded rod.
b. Place the tapered sleeve with the large diameter side facing the suspension
arm on the opposite side from the jam nuts.
c. Thread the threaded rod through the reversible threaded end cap with the
smaller diameter register facing the tapered sleeve.
3. Using an 18mm wrench or socket, turn the jam nuts on the end of the threaded rod
to push the bushing out of the suspension arm and into the tapered sleeve.
4. Remove old bushing from tapered sleeve.

New Bushing Install
1. Apply silicon spray to the new bushing and the inside of the tapered sleeve and
place the bushing in the large end of the tapered sleeve.
2. Gather the hardware and reassemble in the following configuration:
a. The jam nuts and needle bearings can be left in the same configuration as
previously used when removing the old bushing.
b. Place the new bushing in the large opening of the tapered sleeve.
c. Place the tapered sleeve against the suspension arm with the smaller
opening facing the suspension arm.
d. Push the threaded rod through the new bushing and thread it through the
reversible threaded end cap with the register which most closely matches
the diameter of the suspension arm facing it.
3. Use an 18mm wrench or socket to press the bushing until it bottoms out on the
reversible threaded end cap on the opposite side.
4. Once the bushing bottoms out on the end cap, disassemble the configuration and
re-assemble it as shown below:

5. Continue to press the bushing the rest of the way in.
6. Stop pressing the bushing when the flanges of the bushing are in the same position
as in the image below:
