1. GOAL

To provide guidelines for laboratory use at FE Unesa

2. SCOPE

The use of laboratories includes both scheduled and unscheduled uses for academic and non- academic purposes at laboratories owned by the Faculty of Economics.

4. DEFINITION

4.1. Laboratories are all laboratories owned by the Faculty of Economics, Unesa which are

utilized as places for practicum-based learning processes.

4.2. Scheduled use is the use of the laboratory as practical learning for certain subjects

which are designed from the beginning of learning activity.

4.3. Unscheduled use for specific purposes is the use of the laboratory for other learning

activity aside from the designated ones.

5. PERSON IN CHARGE

5.1. Head of the Laboratory is responsible for coordinating and organizing activities in the

laboratory.

5.2. Head of Sub-Laboratory is responsible for the activities in each laboratory under the

coordination of the Head of the Laboratory.

5.3. Head of Subdivision of General Affairs, Civil Service and State Property is responsible

for providing laboratory equipment and ensuring the readiness of laboratory equipment.

5.4. Laboratory technicians are responsible for checking the completeness of equipment,

maintaining the equipment, and maintaining the safety of laboratory equipment.

5.5. Janitor is responsible for keeping the laboratory room clean.

6. GENERAL REQUIREMENT

6.1 Prior to the commencement of learning activities that use the laboratory, the Head of

Subdivision of General Affairs, Personnel, and State Property shall conduct a major

assessment of all laboratory equipment in the FE UNESA.

6.2 During the learning activity conducted in the laboratory, periodical checkings are

carried out on existing laboratory equipment.

6.3 The use of a laboratory other than the scheduled learning activities must be permitted by

the Head of the Laboratory.

7. PROCEDURES

7.1 Scheduled Use

7.1.1 Planning

7.1.1.1 Head of the laboratory shall formulate an order for the implementation

of laboratory use.

7.1.1.2 Head of the Laboratory in coordination with the head of the Study

Program prepares a schedule for laboratory use in each semester based

on a list of courses carried out in the laboratory and gives them to

laboratory technicians.

7.1.2 Implementation

7.1.2.1 Laboratory technicians prepare laboratory and the equipment to ensure

their readiness. Technicians fill out the laboratory equipment
